What happens when a translator credit is omitted? How do I communicate if a translator does not wish to be credited and a waiver has been obtained?
Assets with missing credits will be failed, and a redelivery will be requested. If the partner has obtained a waiver, they should note it in the comment field in Backlot. The language should be:
We have been given permission to omit the credits, and we have a legal waiver on record signed by a translator.
Upon receiving that notation, we will accept the file. Otherwise, we will await the redelivery of a file containing the proper translator credit.
