Warping is the adverse effect of stabilization where the frame compensation causes objects on-screen to shift in an unnatural way. The image quality is degraded by poor stabilization and negatively impacts the customer experience and the technical soundness of a program.
|There is minor image contortion; warping is noticeable mostly on the edges of the frame.|
|There is a major image contortion that is distorting the image and its perspective; it detracts and interrupts the customer viewing experience.|
Confirm if it is creative intent and review the in-camera and/or post-production stabilization. In-Camera stabilization may require further stabilization. In more severe examples, consider reducing the amount of stabilization performed.
