Frame Edge Artifacts
There is visible distortion along the frame's edge.
This issue may be encountered if the material has variable amounts of blanking throughout the program. This is more common in older material, where the amount of blanking can change significantly from scene to scene.
Another common artifact that can cause this issue is when SD PAL content is deinterlaced. PAL content will have a half line of blanking towards the top and bottom of the image. When deinterlaced it is possible this half line may be incorrectly dealt with resulting in noticeable and distracting "jitter" along the first and last line of pixels.
